These data show the latest WHO/UNICEF Estimates of National Immunization Coverage (WUENIC) at the global level. They are based on data reported until 5 October 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the data collection process was slower than in recent years and provisional data had been published in July 2021. The current release of the WUENIC 2020 revision includes estimates for 19 additional countries that reported between July and October 2021. For global and regional coverages, values were extrapolated from 2019 for non-reporting countries. Non-reporting countries represent 2% of the global 2020 cohort. WUENIC data time series are updated annually in July based on available reported data and survey results. Coverage data can help to identify gaps, and can be viewed globally, regionally, or at the country level. Select an antigen to view the coverage data time series.
